TMA05 marked

Got my result for TMA05. 73%

Not bad considering it was cobbled together.

Its weird isn't it? You put blood, sweat and tears into something and get 73%, then you panic and throw something together and get 73%

Whats that all about?

I am doing Science now for TMA06. The religion was just so dull, and the science part so badly written it made it hard to choose. The lesser of two weevils ...
At least the resource book for Wallace is intersting, I had no idea that someone else had contributed to the Survival of the Species. I felt quite uneducated :-)

I am also slightly ahead on Lit. Have finished listening to Medea in the car, and am listening to Pygmalion now

TMA04 result, TMA05 submitted Witting and unwitting testimony

TMA04 result back

73%, so chuffed with that. I actually eTMA'd it which was scary and new. Ridiculous really as I am an IT person for my job, yet I was terrified of eTMA-ing!!

I do loathe witting and unwitting testimony I will confess, and no way in hell am I doing ANYTHING that involves analysing primary sources after this one.

Not sure what I will do next to be honest, however the next tutorial is next choices so will have to think it over.

I wasnt crazy about TMA05. I mean I loved Rousseau and the Social Contract was great but comparing a picture to a piece of philosopfy was challenging to say the least and my paper was really awful on it. Just have to see what the result is, but I am not holding out much hope.

I have decided to do history for TMA06, dont think I can do religion. Its too close to my heart and I cant deal with the idiot writer critising it. History is great tho, and Wallace is very interesting. I didnt realise there was so much going on and so many people racing to the same opinion.

Real question now is 'Was Wallace a victim of our preoccupation with superheros' and of so why? :-)

Ready to submit

OK, have trimmed my 1100 plus words to 982, which is within the 10% my tutor allows (just)

Managed to get in most of what I wanted to say, but no bibliography. Hope that doesnt cost me marks.

Just getting the formatting and type face sorted and then I shall print it to hand deliver tomorrow afternoon.

Don't think this one will be a Pass 1, but will be happy with anything over say 70%

Woo hoo!!!

Well I guess I didn't need to worry.

Got a fantastic 81% for my TMA02 which I am pleased with

Music is just so hard, so 17/25 is ok for that. Sonnets were a stumbling block for me (dear dear February Afternoon by Edward Thomas, or Thomas Edwards I forget which now) so 20/25 is great for that

Was a bit disappointed in 19/25 for the Art section, as I thought I had well and truly nailed that -certainly better than the sonnet section I felt.

Philosophy was embarrassingly easy in the end, once I read it properly, and the 25/25 on that seems like money for old rope, but as it is money for me, from rope I didn't need I am not complaining!!

Man Reading TMA02

Crikey but this is hard

I have my 300 words easily but I feel I need something more. It isnt flowing in the same way that TMA01 did
Maybe its just the unfamiliar language, or the fact that I have never actually SEEN a 'descriptive analasys' of a painting that is stumping me...
And compared to Thomas Edward and the February Afternoon sonnet it is going well!!

Ho hum, it will come I am sure
